You as a Writer
Writing all started with learning how to write the letters in the alphabet, learning how to punctuate, and using proper grammar. One of the first things that I ever wrote was probably my name. As I have grown older I have started writing more and more. The first time I ever wrote an essay was in Jr. High and it was not very good. There is a big difference in the first essay I wrote and the last one that I wrote. As I have continued writing I have kept improving with every paper that I write.
I don’t really like writing very much, and I do not feel like I am a very good writer. I write best when it is quite and I can concentrate. I only like to write a paragraph at a time because that is just the way that I have always written. My research paper is the paper that I have liked writing the least. I don’t like other people to read my papers, but I do not care if my teacher reads it. The only time that I write outside of school is to write letters to my brother. I write different if I am writing a letter or writing an essay for school. I think that if I liked writing it would be a little easier.
Some of my weaknesses would be using the right grammar, using the write punctuation, and using proper spelling. When I write I usually try to make it as long as possible. One thing that I would like to get better at is learning how to piece together a paper.
